The Selector is a mix of an aviator and an oversized frame, with classic touches here and there. The sizing and the color of the frame are outstanding, especially the white. The frame is made of Zyl-acetate and has a glossy finish. This unisex frame will look good on everyone. It also comes in Black with a Black Swirl Back and Honey Tortoise.
Dita Spectator has a Wayfarer style shape with subtle Dita styling. The smoky colors that follow the insides of the frame near the lenses are outstanding. Also comes in Black with a Smoke Back and Tortoise with a Burnt Brown Back colors.
Dita Marquis rounds up these new releases with a metallic style. The frame is made of two-tone titanium so is very lightweight. Similar is style to their Midnight Special, the piece of the frame that extends from the temples onto and over the lenses is something I’m seeing for the first time. Marquis also comes in Shiny 12K Gold, Matte Black Carbon and Antique D.Blue colors
All three pairs have polarized lenses, which is a change from Dita’s usual CR-39 lenses. It adds another layer of quality and function. If these three pairs are any indication of what the next 10 are going to be like, then it will be a good year for Dita Eyewear and all of us who follow them. These three models alone cover a great range of shapes, styles and attitude. All Dita sunglasses are made by the finest craftsmen in Japan. Look for them to be available sometime in the near future.
