So you want to add full reflection to sunglasses. It might be possible that the picture you are trying to edit already has a slight reflection. In this tutorial you will learn how to make a reflection of any picture, any situation or palms trees in sunglasses.
Step 1: Preparation
Select one of the lenses. You can do this with the magic wand tool if the area inside has the same tint. If not, I recommend using the "magic lasso" tool. It is very easy to use, just put the point around the edge and they will automatically select the area within.
After you have selected one of the lenses, you should make a new layer. You can do this by pushing the "New Layer" button at the layer window. After that, fill it with black. It looks like the actual lens is black, but only the layer on top of the lens is black.
Step 2: Clipping
The second step is to move the picture that you want as a reflection to your document. Put the image in a new layer and create a clipping mask. To create a clipping mask press Control + Alt + G. You should make "left lens" a clipping mask for the reflection layer.
Step 3: Resize
The image now resides within the lens. It is time to move it around and resize it with the free transform tool. This way you can decide what part of the image you want to have.
Step 4: Final Step
We need three more things to do. Firstly you will need to add the inner shadow layer style. This can be done be double clicking on the layer. Sunglasses always have a darker reflection, so that is why inner shadow is necessary.
The next thing to do is to use the "Spherize"-filter to make sure that the image is slightly curved. You can find this under distortion. Use "horizontal-only" and set the amount to 30%. Repeat for the right lens and your reflection image is done.
